Technical Rider for Voices of Native America Tour Full Band/Troupe performance (18 performers)


1 Guitar Amplifier-Peavey Stereo Chorus, Fender Twin Reverb, or Roland JC120 or approved equivalent
2 Guitar Stands
1 Bass Amplifier-Peavey Combo 300, Mega Bass, w/410 cab, or approved equivalent
Drums-Tama, Yamaha, Drum Workshop 5 pc kit, consisting of snare, 12”, 13” rack toms, 18” floor tom, 22” Kick drum, 4 cymbal stands, 1 highhat stand, Drum throne, extra snare stand. (kick drum front head must have hole cut for miking purpose)
Conga Set w/stand 1 quinto conga, 1 conga (Latin Percussion preferred)
2-Drum Riser w/carpet, measuring not less than 8’X8’x18” /skirted ( if other risers are available, we’ll use them as well)
2 Bar stools preferably w/o padding on seat
1 Electric Fan for Drummer
2 tier Keyboard stand (Ultimate Supports Delta model HIGHLY preferred)
Large volume fog machine or 2 small volume machines w/ 20' remotes (Remotes are REQUIRED)
video front projection system w/lenses long enough to throw length of venue (may be projected from Orchestra Pit, downstage area,or flown behind master drape)
video playback unit (VHS or 3/4 Beta) input to projection system (please notify Native Restoration in advance if 3/4 Beta is required)
The Voices performance prefers a sound check at 3:00 p.m. for an 8:00 p.m. performance, for a period of not less than one hour. Troupe Load in should therefore be accomplished by 2:00 p.m.(lights and sound already set. Our Tech Director will arrive at least one hour prior to band load in)

House Sound system
1. House console. A MINIMUM of 24 inputs,28 or greater preferred, 3 post fader FX sends, each channel having parametric EQ

3. House power amps/speakers
House system shall be tri-amped/biamped capable of providing 106 dB(peak) at mix position. System must be clear and free of hum, buzz, or other noises while no signal is present
4. Monitors
System shall have 24 inputs with a MINIMUM of 4 individual mixes. Each mix shall have separate 1/3 octave EQ, a minimum of 200 watts per enclosure. Each monitor speaker to consist of one 15” driver w/horn. Monitor engineer MUST have clear and unimpeded view of ARTIST at all times. Artist provides Garwood UHF in-ear monitoring system for Douglas Spotted Eagle only. This is to keep center stage free of visual obstructions. (click HERE for input/monitor/processing chart)
5. Signal Processing
1 studio quality digital reverb
1 studio quality DSP w/delay, chorus, reverb, etc. located at house console (SPX 90, TRS 24, etc)
2 compressor limiters (One stereo)
House system to be equalized using minimum 1/3 octave eq per side.
1 CD player to be inserted into house system, secondary feed to stage monitor system.
1 DAT machine to be connected to house buss output for recording of live show. Recording to be at 44.1K on 120 DAT's
6. Headset system connecting Stage manager with all lighting, sound, video, backstage left/right, and pinrail personnel.

2 Spotlite operators/spotlites

Programmable Lighting board w/minimum of 8 scenes

The Scrim is a dead hang, tied in 3 sections. End sections are 24' by 15' and the middle section is 24' by 30'. The two end sections may be hanged as legs in the event that venue stage area cannot accomodate the total width of scrim on one hang or if borders/legs are not available to mask offstage areas.
