"Homogenic" the new album update Source: Homogenic Research Team Date of issue: 15-07-1997

Bj÷rk's new album is called "Homogenic" after some rumours that told us the names was "Homogenous", the official launch was held last night at "Trumans Brewery Brick Lane" London. She performed 8 or 9 songs. Some old material was played like "Venus as A Boy", "Hyperballad" and "Isobel". The following new album tracks where played: "Joga", "Hunter", Techno "Prayer", "State of Emergency" and more (titles unknown). The musical assistants where: Mark Bell and a 6 piece string section.

The night for Howie B. and Bj÷rk was followed by a rammed session at "The Blue Note" Club.

The new album is scheduled for late September. The single ("State of Emergency") is out 2 weeks earlier.

Bj÷rk will be doing some very small low-key live performances in the UK and Europe in September (no detailed info yet). After that the "Homogenic" world tour starts.
