This is a

server of the
Stanislaw Staszic University of Mining and Metallurgy
in
Cracow.
Do not be misled by the name - mining and metallurgy are only two of 15
faculties of this university - the second-largest technical school in
Poland.

Finally, please accept apologies for any possible problems and inconsistences
in this information system (consisting of WWW, Gopher and anonymous FTP
servers). Things are still under construction, or - as we prefer to say -
there is continuous progress...
WWW server
This server is located at the Computer Center of
the Stanislaw Staszic University of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow.
It has been established on 3.01.1994.
It was running on a SUN SPARCserver 690MP (till November 1995),
and now it is running on SparcStation 20.
Currently, we are using
Apache/1.0.0.
Recently, our site received the Three Star award from
McKinley's Internet Directory
MAGELLAN.
