Digital Ionograms [by Ionospheric Sounding Data Network(IONET)]

Table of Contents

Overview

Digital Ionograms are regularly obtained at the following stations under the Communications Research Laboratory(CRL), Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Japan. Ionospheric observations are carried out at the above four stations in Japan by means of vertical sounding using ionosondes. The ionosonde produces ionograms, which are recorded digitally on computer storage medium. The digitally recorded ionograms are collected from each station with the Ionospheric Sounding Data Network(IONET).

Description of Dataset Files
