A good place to start is by browsing some of the popular indexes to the web. You can also search the WWW from one of these sites, pay a visit to a site of general interest or explore one of the many sites in the Ottawa/Hull region. The web in Canada and around the world has a wide variety of community networks like our own National Capital FreeNet.

The Lynx "go" command can get you to the http address of your choice and there is a lot more information on URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) and HTML (HyperText Markup Language).
