NAG supplies a range of software tools and associated products for the professional programmer and for educational use.

Fortran 90 Software Repository

NAG is supporting a public Fortran 90 Software Repository. The service can be used for uploading Fortran 90 files which others can then examine, recover and use. The repository contains useful codes, examples of the new Fortran 90 features and other related materials. The repository can be found here

Compilers and Tool Suites

The NAGWare range currently includes:

• NAGWare f90 Compilers Full ISO/ANSI standard Fortran 90 compiler for various unix, PC (FTN90) and VMS platforms.
• NAGWare f90 Tools A suite of tools for processing, analysing and transforming Fortran 90 source code.
• NAGWare f77 Tools A comprehensive suite of Fortran programming tools.
• Fortran 77 to 90 Converter A new Graphical User Interface to some NAGWare f77 and f90 Tools is now available free. The GUI is intended to guide the user through some useful tools for converting fixed format Fortran 77 to Fortran 90. Note that both NAGWare f77 and f90 Tools are required to fully utilise the GUI.

• NAGWare Gateway Generator Automatically generates MATLAB gateways for Fortran code.
• NAGWare/Unicomp Fortran 90 Test Suite A large body of software written to test the operation of Fortran 90 compilation and processing systems. Also the Test Suite Lite, a smaller test suite for compiler evaluation and other activities.
• NAGWare f90 Technology Initiative Supplying Fortran 90 technology to creators of Fortran 90 systems.
