KTH Requests:
How to order items held by KTHB.
You may order items held by KTHB via the library online catalog, KTHB-Libertas, or by using any
of the ordering options below. To order items via the online catalog you need a
KTHB library card.
- Photocopies
Access the library catalog,
KTHB-Libertas, locate the item
and use the RESERVE/COPY function to request a photocopy.
The copy will be sent to you by mail or fax.
- Loans
Access the library catalog,
KTHB-Libertas, locate the item and use the
RESERVE/LOAN function to request a retrieval from storage.
The item may be picked up at the circulation desk after two hours for
borrowing (books) or for self-service photocopying at the library (journals).
Other ordering options.
If the ordered item is not held by KTHB it may be obtained from another
supplier. Indicate on your request if you wish this to be done .

Download the faxform in RTF-format
or request it by calling the loan department at 790 70 88.
- Mail:
KTHB, Lσneavdelningen, 100 44 Stockholm.
- Electronic Form or E-Mail:
Fill out the form
or send your requests by e-mail to
loandept@lib.kth.se.
These ordering options are especially useful if you use the cut and paste facility
of your computer.

Loan (Books)
- Loan from the Nordic Countries:
free of charge.
- Loan from outside the Nordic Countries:
SEK 150.
Photocopies
These prices apply to photocopies up to 40 pages obtained from the KTHB collections
and from libraries in the Nordic countries.
Copies from other libraries and document suppliers cost between SEK 75
and SEK 250.
Indicate maximum acceptable cost on your request.
The turnaround time for photocopies varies
according to the supplier.
- Basic Service:
delivered by mail or fax within three days - SEK 50
- Rush:
delivered by mail or fax the same day - SEK 90
- Express:
delivered by fax within two hours - SEK 175
- Self-Service Photocopying:
Coins: SEK 1 per copy. Cards: SEK 75 for 100 copies, SEK 25 for 30 copies
Special materials
Contact the loan department for information about
dissertations, reports and other special materials.
