The EuroStar is the first direct passenger train that connects Brussels and Paris with London, via the Channel Tunnel. Read all the technical details on Clem Tillier's excellent Eurostar pages.

It connects the following stations:

London Waterloo International
Paris Gare du Nord
Lille Europe
Calais Frethun
Ashford (Kent)
Brussels South (Brussel Zuid [Dutch]/Bruxelles Midi [French])

The prices are in Belgian francs, you'll find the latest exchange rate here. Although few Eurostars are completely full, it's wise to book well in advance. As soon as there are more trains running, it should in principle be possible to get a seat shortly before travel (mind the 20 minute check-in time though!).

Note that the trains Brussels-London and back are usually not completely full at the moment, so it's not necessary to make a reservation a long time before travelling (except to get a cheaper fare of course!). The Paris-London trains (and back) have loadings varying between 50% and 100%.

Save valuable time and buy your Paris or Brussels metro tickets onboard the Eurostar at the bar.

Eurostar aims to have a bicycle service up and running by the Spring of 1996. I'll try to give more info asap.
