 No.   Time  Alt  V a  q   Event

1. 0 45 790 2 145 Launch - light engine, increase to 100%T, rotate until 2 g is attained.

2. 11 45 1200 12 380 Maintain 2g until q = 25° - maintain q = 25°.

3. 50 71 3000 4 580 Extend speed brakes - pushover to a = 2° (g = .2).

4. 81 103 5300 2 350 Shut down engine - disengage roll and yaw dampers, perform dv pulse.

5. 105 122 5000 2 120 Disengage ASAS - pullup to a = 15°, perform dv pulse. Increase a above 15° at pilot's discretion.

6. 125 125 4800 »15 100 Peak altitude - continue pulses at pilot's discretion.

7. 165 108 4500 »15 170 Retract speed brakes - pullup to a = 20°, perform dv pulses.

8. 190 95 3900 20 260 At pilot's discretion, pullup to dh = -35°.

9. 203 95 3400 23 200 Pushover to a = 13° - vector to high key - perform dv pulses during deceleration.

10. 350 76 1500 13 120 Reengage SAS and ASAS - Jettison (H2O2 OFF).

11. High key, pressurize tanks.

12. Before APU shutdown, cycle controls, retract flaps, set stabilizer trim to zero. Data off.

Notes: 1. Duration of flight approximately 11 min.

2. q vernier will be set at 25°, a crosspointer will null at 2°.

3. Emergency Lakes: Hidden Hills and Cuddeback.

4. In the event control becomes marginal, ASAS will be engaged.

Ground Rules for No Launch: 1. Malfunction of any SAS channel.

2. Malfunction of inertial platform attitudes.

3. Malfunction of ball nose.

Alternate Situations After Launch: 1. If radio or radar fail, proceed as planned.

2. If ball nose fails, maintain g > 1 after S.D..

3. If total pitch SAS fails, do not exceed a = 15°.

4. If total roll SAS fails, disengage YAW SAS, proceed as planned, dv inputs not recommended.

5. For inadvertent engine shutdown:

0 - 48 sec Delamar

48 - 68 sec Hidden Hills

68 - 72 sec Cuddeback

72 - Up sec Edwards

6. If engine does not light within 30 sec after launch, jettison propellants and land at Delamar.

7. For delayed engine light proceed as planned.
