on magnetic heading of 227°. SAS 8-8-8
No. | Time | Alt | V | a | Event |
1. | 0 | 45 | 790 | 0 | Launch, light engine at 75%T (maintain 75%T), rotate to 10° a. |
2. | 16 | 45 | 1300 | 10 | Maintain 10° a until q = 20°. |
3. | 40 | 54 | 2000 | 5 | Pushover to 0 g. |

13. Before APU shutdown,
cycle controls, retract flaps, set stabilizer trim to zero, and push-to-test
ball nose. Data off.
2. q vernier will be set at 20°, a crosspointer will null at 3°.
3. Emergency Lakes: Silver and Cuddeback.
2. Malfunction of inertial platform attitudes.
3. Malfunction of ball nose.
2. If ball nose fails, proceed as planned.
3. If total pitch or roll SAS fails, proceed through burnout as planned, do not exceed 8° a after burnout.
4. For inadvertent
engine shutdown; prior to 50 seconds, return to Hidden Hills, 50 to 60
seconds proceed to Silver, 60 to 74 seconds proceed to Cuddeback, above
74 seconds proceed to Edwards. Two engine starts may be attempted in all
cases.
