Dana: OK, Pete, I kept the "g" down. It was a lot looser in pitch and yaw than I've ever seen it before. Didn't notice any damper trouble but that's why I went low.

Dana: How far north of China Lake? 
   
NASA 1: 10 miles. We got you at Mach 3. You're coming straight for the base. You got the field in sight?
