NOTES:

1. q vernier will be set at 34°, a crosspointer will null at 20°.

2. Emergency Lake: Hidden Hills, Cuddeback.

3. Flight Duration: Approximately 10 minutes.

4. Flight plan based on 60,000# thrust at 100%. Engine #104.

Total burn time at 100% T (60,000#) = 85.7 sec.

Launch wt. = 34,832# S.D. Wt. = 16,768# Burnout wt = 15,726#

5. In-flight jettison check. (Accounted for in wts. and burn time.)

6. Precision attitudes pre-set:

Pitch = 0° (90.0)

Roll = 0° (90.0)

Heading = 201°

GROUND RULES FOR NO LAUNCH: 1. Radio, Radar or TM malfunction.

2. Malfunction of any SAS channel.

3. Malfunction of inertial platform.

4. Malfunction of Ball Nose.

5. Malfunction of either BCS.

Failure to ASAS

2a. 0 - 35 seconds

Pushover to a = 2° at 35 sec. Shutdown at 5150 fps (79 sec) (Hmax » 140K).

    2b. 35 sec - shutdown

Pushover to a = 2° when failure occurs. Reduce to min. thrust if necessary to reduce max. altitude. Shutdown at 5150 fps.

    2c. After shutdown

Use a = 15° for entry.

3. Ball Nose Failure  3a. 0 - 35 seconds

Rotate at 2.0g. Pushover to zero g at 35 sec. Shutdown at 5150 fps. (79 sec). (Hmax » 115K).

    3b. 35 sec. - shutdown

Pushover to zero g when failure occurs. Shutdown at 5150 fps.

    3c. After shutdown

Use q = 0° for reentry.

4. Attitude Failure 4a. 0 - 35 seconds
