Job Duties

I am currently the Lab manager of the NASA Payload Operations Information Systems Development Laboratory. I provide technical direction for information systems and ground checkout systems for the NASA Payload Organization and operates computer systems and networks for payload customers, NASA employees and contractors. My responsibilities include the integration and development of the Payload Data Management System (PDMS-II), developer for the MS-Windows and Windows/NT based Network News Reader WinVN, Manager of the KSC central Network News Feed, Manager of KSC Payload Operations Internet connections, Kennedy Space Centers Webmaster and developer of KSC's World Wide Web Home Server.

I have worked for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center since 1982.

Plea for restraint

I currently get over 100 E-mail messages a day and I can't possibly keep up with them all. Please don't ask me to forward messages to an astronaut or get an autograph, I can't help you. The astronauts live at the Johnson Space Center and not the Kennedy Space Center. Please don't ask me to get you a launch pass, if you are interested in launch passes, read the section How to get a Launch Pass in the Frequently Asked questions section. Please don't send me E-mail asking when the next shuttle launch will take place or that you heard a rumor that a particular launch date slipped. I can only update our WWW site with published manifest information from our Public Affairs Office and I can't give you anymore information that what is currently available on the Shuttle Mission Information pages.
