Foreign Direct Investment
This program produces employment and wage statistics by industry and geographic area as well as employment statistics by occupation in foreign-owned establishments in the United States. The employment and wage data are deve-loped from a link between enterprise information provided by the Bureau of Economic Analysis from their Annual and Benchmark Surveys of Foreign Direct Investment in the United States and establishment data from the Covered Employment and Wages (ES-202) program. This information is then linked to establishment data from the Occupational Employment Statistics program to produce employment data by occupation for foreign-owned U.S. establishments.
