Civilization is the progress toward a society of privacy. The savage's whole existence is public, ruled by the laws of his tribe. Civilization is the process of setting man free from men.

Ayn Rand - The Fountainhead (1943)

Cryptography is the study of encryption, the transformation of data into a form unreadable by anyone without a secret decryption key.

PGP is Pretty Good Privacy, a program created by Phil Zimmermann. It's a widely-used tool for performing public key encryption and managing the associated keys. PGP is available for a wide variety of computer systems (see Where to Get PGP).

Your privacy is what this is all about. If you think you have a right to keep a secret from everyone, including the government, follow this link.
