The Incorrect Password Dialog
This dialog appears when an encrypted file is being extracted and
WinZip® determines that the password it has been given is not correct.
You can supply the correct password, skip decryption/extraction of the
file, or cancel the current operation completely.
To supply the correct password
- Type the password in the Enter password edit field.
- Tip: check the Mask password check box to
prevent the password from being displayed as you type it.
- Click OK to continue the operation.
- Note: WinZip will continue to use the password
you specify here for any additional files being decrypted in the current
action. If the password is incorrect for any of the files, this dialog
will appear again.
To skip the current file
- Click the Skip button. The current file will be skipped, but
WinZip will continue to extract any additional files. If decryption is
necessary, WinZip will use the original password.
To cancel the operation
- Click the Cancel button. No additional files will be processed,
but any files already extracted will remain on disk.
