Favorite Folders

The Search for Favorite Zip Folders panel controls how Setup searches for your Favorite Zip Folders.

Favorite Zip Folders is a WinZip® feature that helps you to organize your Zip files by identifying folders on your system that are likely to contain Zip files. Your Zip files are then presented in one convenient list, making it easier to locate all Zip files, regardless of where they came from or where they are stored.

Choose the search method you prefer, then click Next. Regardless of which option you pick now, you can always reorganize your Favorite Zip Folders by clicking Options from the Wizard's Welcome panel.

The options are:

• Search Entire Hard Disk: Searches all folders on your hard disk for Zip files. This is the recommended option.
• Quick Search: Searches for certain specific folders that commonly contain Zip files. This option is faster but not as comprehensive.
