Resplendent Association Wizard 1.00 version 1.00 - April 1 1998 (c) Copyright 1998 Resplendence Software Projects author: Daniel Terhell website: http://www.resplendence.com e-mail: info@resplendence.com Product Description: -------------------- Resplendent Association Wizard allows you to create associations between file extensions and programs so that the application of your choice will open your documents. When you open a file using Windows Explorer, let's say README.TXT then by default Windows starts Notepad to open this document. This is because .TXT files are registered to be opened with Notepad. But what if you have installed another text editor that you prefer to be used instead (let's say Wordpad) ? Then you would probably have to start this editor and locate the file and open it. Instead you could use Resplendent Assocation Wizard to help you through a step-by-step guide to create a file-association so that once and for all the documents of your choice open with the programs that you want. By default Resplendent Association Wizard registers itself to open all documents for which no association yet exists so that the standard Open With... dialog will not appear and you are automatically guided through the association process. The file that you originally tried to open will then be executed once the wizard has successfully completed the association.
