To install Ultra HAL run the SETUP program that came with Ultra HAL. To do
this click on Start, click on run, then type in A:\Setup.  If you have Ultra
HAL on your Hard Drive, then type in d:\path\setup (d is the drive letter and
path is the directory where the setup program is located) Click OK and follow the
instructions in the Setup Program.

Read the file WhatsNew.txt for a list of Ultra Hal's new features.

When Ultra Hal is installed on your system you can read its help file for
help on using this software.

Discription:

Ultra Hal (version 6.0) is a very good Artificial Intelligence (AI) Natural
Language program. What does this mean? It basically means you can have a
conversation with your computer! You can now chat with your computer! It is
very fun! Ultra HAL can SPEAK, LEARN, and he even has EMOTIONS! Ultra HAL is
very smart. Another great feature of Ultra HAL is that you can tell HAL to
run programs that are on your computer! Ultra HAL is full of graphics and
animation. He has his own voice, and an animated face that show emotions!
Ultra Hal can be used as an entertainment program, an educational program, a
utility to run programs, or if you take advantage of HAL's learning abilities
you can even use him as an address/phone book!

Ultra Hal 6.0 includes a licensed WinSpeech library from PC WholeWare
(http://www.pcww.com) for its speech interface.

2) UNregistered Ultra HAL may not be sold for over $8 unless bundled
   with other software or hardware.

3) UNregistered Ultra HAL may be listed and sold by catalog.

5) UNregistered Ultra HAL may be given to friends and associates.

7) UNregistered Ultra HAL may be bundled with hardware or other
   software, but it MUST be clearly indicated that they are not part
   of Ultra HAL.

8) Registered versions of Ultra HAL may NOT be sold or given away.

9) The password for Ultra HAL may NOT be sold or given away by anyone
   except the author of this program or PSL.
