Taken at an internal FairLight meeting at Splatt's house outside London. Each year hordes of computer freaks go on a pilgrimage to the computer game show at Earl's Court, and it's the perfect time to get together with friends (and enemies?) from different groups, and sink plenty of beer.

In this particular photo we present Splatt and JBM. Splatt being the happy (drunk?) one, and JBM being the "other" one... I wonder what the hell was up his ass with that attitude?

Being a Swede, he had probably run out of alcohol - Swedes get very upset about those kind of things y'know!

The FairLight dudes once again reconvene at the show in London. Lots of people crowd around, and security is called in to fend off all the fans. Finally, the guys agree to a group photo in front of the Nintendo booth - how appropriate!

In any case... The London show had only gotten worse since it's inception, and this was one of the last appearances by the FairLight crew at this show.

Although it was always fun, rousin' and carousin' in London meeting other friends from all over the world, this epoque has sadly come to an end.

JBM once again in a bad mood? Why? Well, who knows? You'd think he'd be happy as a kite sitting in a pub in London with virtually unlimited amounts of quality brew around him... Oh, well...

But JBM is happiest when he's in front of a computer transferring the warez.

In any case... After another day rummaging around on the showroom floor of the expo, our heros enjoy some quality British beer. JBM is joined by Strider (who looks quite drunk - eh?) and Hogster.

A DrUNkk FairLight member is a happy FairLight member, as it clearly shows here in this photo taken at a nightclub in London's fashionable party-district by an undercover photographer. Since the female photographer was disguised as a voluptious blonde with big breasts, the FairLight crew with friends gladly posed, thinking they'd get rewarded.

However, after taking the photo, the lady was nowhere to be seen. In any case, the happy faces represent Gollum of FairLight, Dave of Warfalcons, a guy from Blasters, and finally Aaron and Black Shadow of FairLight.

Here you can see and compare for yourself, the tenure and stature of Bacchus of FairLight, as he towers over Riddler of Active.

Look closely, and notice the glow of pride in the Riddler's eyes as he stands together with the living legend himself...

Naw, seriously... FairLight has always been humble and gotten along just great with most groups and indivduals out there in "scene-land".

Also, this scan wasn't done by us, so don't blame us for the shitty quality... Duh!

WOW! After the FairLight crew abandoned the London shows, the computer and video game shows in Las Vegas have been attracting more and more visitors. We especially recommend visiting the "Adult Section" of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Lots (and we mean lots) of pornostars and otherwise beautiful and "endowed" women strolling around on the showroom floor showing off their warez! A let me tell you... Those are some HOT warez!

As you can see Strider of FairLight seems to have been caught a bit by surprise, and is having a hard (?) time keeping his mouth closed. Of course, the girl also recognized who Strider was, and immediately started grabbing for his crotch.

Strider of FairLight on his first tour to the United States... Meetings with top folks at the time...

Here seen with Oahawhool of FBR (Fucked Beyond Repair) dining at the Hard Rock CafΘ in New York. Believe it or not, but while walking around in NYC with his FairLight shirt, Strider actually met a BBS operator for Eaglesoft as well. It's a small world, eh?

After taking New York by storm, the tour continued westward to California and Arizona, where he met Shark of International Network of Chaos (INC).

FairLight likes to stay friends with everyone. Here Strider poses with a San Diego police officer, who stopped him when he was taking a picture of the policecar.

-"Hey kid! Haven't you ever seen a policecar before?"
-"Umm Sir... I'm like from overseas or something... Sorry..."
-"Oh, really? Well, come over check out my shotgun, radar, computer etc... Want to take a picture with me!?"

THE GREATEST PARTY EVER! DANISH GOLD's in 1987!

Boy, did we have a great time there! Only the biggest groups were invited, and let in. It was just after WCC (West Coast Crackers) had split up into two competing groups; FairLight and Relax. So there was quite a little rivalry situation at the party. Nevertheless it was awesome! Boozing and partying as usual...

Other groups present were Danish Gold (of course!), The Light Circle, Yeti Factories, Triad, Swedish Cracking Crew, BWB (Boys Without Brains) and 1001 Crew.

  In the picture I'll name the people I remember who they are. If you know someone that I didn't, please send us some mail, and we'll update it;

TOP FROM LEFT: unknown, Triad dood, Janitor of Relax, Jorn of Raw Deal, Mr. Pinge of Relax, RND of Triad, Strider and Black Shadow of FairLight, Alan of Danish Gold, unknown, Gollum of FairLight, one of the 1001 Crew doods, unknown (I think a Boy Without his Brain)

BOTTOM FROM LEFT: "guy hiding": Steppenwolf of Raw Deal, Mr.Z of Triad, unknown, Ixion of Triad, unknown, unknown and finally another two members of BWB (methinks)

Those were the good old days when quality meant more than quantity. All the groups agreed on standards which to uphold in their releases, and naming schemes to indicate these standards. C64 freaks will remember "+", "+M", "!" and "#" symbols, indicating a trainer, multi-trainer with in-game options, loading picture and documentation (instructions). There were some others as well. For more details, please look elsewhere on this site, where we have screenshots of the demo which was made to spread the news about these new standards.

We all had a good time, and I distinctly remember a place nearby where we all went to get hamburgers and hotdogs for breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and more snacks; they were SOO DAMN GREASY it's was unbelievable! Darn, I mean, if your heart hadn't received an overdose of cholesterol before, that was surely the first time... Yucky, but... GOOD! Also their pizzas were something to remember as well.

The photo was taken by Inferno (SCC) in Sweden when the almighty 1001 Crew visited Swedish Cracking Crew. Special thanks to Covenant, for supplying this photo!

From right to left: Joost Honig (Honey) from 1001 Crew, Covenant from Swedish Cracking Crew, Zzap (SCC) and two more 1001 Crew members (what are their names?).
