NAME
mdel - delete a MSDOS file
SYNOPSIS
mdel msdosfile
[
msdosfiles...
]
DESCRIPTION
Mdel
deletes a file on a MSDOS formatted diskette. Sub directories are supported
with either the '/' or '\' separator. The use of the '\' separator
or wildcards will require the names to be enclosed in quotes to protect
them from the shell.
Mdel
will ask for verification prior to removing a read-only file.
The environmental variable MCWD may be used to establish a current
working directory (relative to the MSDOS diskette).
SEE ALSO
mdir(1)
BUGS
Does not follow the MSDOS convention of allowing only one file argument.
