Hm,
well, anyone who's seen this pack is bound to know
this will be a short review.
This
pack is rather large, but is not at all *that* great
overall. There are about 50 ascii's in total, with
newschool and oldschool divided up somewhat evenly,
and there is only 1 pic, which is only a guest.
The
pack starts off with some oldschool, and then the
usual stuff from cleaner. Again(and I don't think
I stress this enough) there should be some more diverse
styles from him. His stuff is great, but month after
month of the same thing gets kind of old. Then we
have deviant, who's a great artist altogether. His
new style(in my opinion) doesn't quite work for him,
and there seems to be some cutting and pasting going
on(look at some old mimic packs). After that, there
are your run of the mill fonts. Nothing really special.
I
mean, I know Prelude isn't new, but they have got
to focus more on quality other than this whole "We've
got more ascii than you" thing going on. I hear
Gravedancer has joined up with Prelude, so that should
be a plus. I expect to see some pics from him next
month :P
