fact: the blender will come back, sooner or later.
what i need from you is suggestions. what didn't you like about blender? what DID you like? what can be done to improve it? any feedback will be appreciated, and anything written by quip will be promptly ignored.
err, just kidding quip. i love you.
Mail me about a bot!
In my own blender-running experience, this will save the organizers a shitload of tedious prep time.
It was a fucking excellent comp. There's my input.. And yeah, do the reviews you lazy bastard :)
cthulu: get me a bot that will review packs. :)
but yeah, i'll email you, and dangermouse, i'll review soon.
i never liked blender cause it blatantly stole my IRC compo idea, come up with your own damn stuff warpus ! :P
heh
hey, blame hennifer, he came up with blender, i just ran it :). as time went on i added my own things to it, but hennifer basically had the original idea.
(i invented the swap(tm) tho)
you didn't invent swap, swap was a direct rip of the joint! it was just minorly altered, you're all crayon wannabes i can tell!
:)
doesn't matter where the idea originated, i thought of it first :). i was doing a joint with a sysop of a bbs (shadow hunter, he was in dark for a while).. and decided that it'd be better to work on 2 ansis instead of 1, at the same time.
doesn't matter tho, those days are long gone.
This is kind of a silly thing to discuss. I mean those ideas have been around for ages, just that no one actually did it.
It's just like #hirez and hirez.org, both which I started. There were a lot of people before me that tried starting that kind of projects, but they weren't there anymore when I made my attempt.. so I'm getting the credit for all the cool stuff =)
well, that's true.. still, the blender was a pretty original idea, don't you think so?
i'm just being bitter about not getting the recognition i deserve for reinventing IRC compos like that :P
what do you want, a nobel peace prize? :)
