					ROSS 
			Let's get one thing straight, 
			colonel. I came here as a 
			courtesy to you. This decision 
			has already been made.

					KIRA
			And I have to live with it.

					ROSS
				(a simple fact) 
			That's right.

	Kira sees that there's no point in arguing further. 
	Ross gets up to leave.

					ROSS 
			You've done a fine job, taking 
			over for Captain Sisko.

					KIRA
			I'm just keeping his seat warm.

					ROSS
			You still think he'll be back?

					KIRA
			Don't you?

	Ross thinks it over; he's not sure.
