HOLOSUITE/LAS VEGAS LOUNGE - NIGHT VIC FONTAINE, a handsome, tuxedo-clad singer, is midway through a saloon song, emblematic of the late fifties and sixties ("You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You"). The audience is filled with well-dressed men and women, all of them looking like they came right out of a 1962 rat-pack concert. In the back of the lounge is a bar, where ODO, KIRA, DOCTOR BASHIR, CHIEF O'BRIEN, DAX and WORF are standing in their Starfleet uniforms. Everyone seems to appreciate the music, but Bashir and Dax are the most enthusiastic. Vic finishes the song to a round of applause. VIC Hey, it's been four hundred years but that little number still works for me. 2 ANGLE ON THE SENIOR STAFF as they join in the applause. BASHIR Isn't he incredible? WORF I prefer Klingon Opera. BASHIR (to the group) C'mon, I'll introduce you. KIRA To a hologram? ODO Doctor, is this absolutely necessary?
