			your eminence.

					KAI WINN 
			Thank you, Emissary. 
				(to Kira) 
			You may go, my child.

	Kira almost succeeds in keeping the irritation out of her 
	voice at the abrupt dismissal.

					KIRA 
			Thank you.

	Kira EXITS.

					KAI WINN 
			Why don't we take a walk?

					SISKO
			A walk?

					KAI WINN 
			Yes. So often on these visits, I 
			find myself confined to meeting 
			rooms or guest quarters. I love 
			to see the Promenade and mingle 
			with the residents of the station. 
			Would you mind?

	Sisko is surprised and has no idea where she's going 
	with this, but...

					SISKO 
			Not at all.

	He indicates the door and they EXIT together.

									CUT TO:

10   INT. PROMENADE - SECOND LEVEL

	Sisko and Kai Winn take a stroll along the Promenade. 
	The N.D. Vedeks follow at a discreet distance. A few 
	heads turn as they pass through the crowd, but people 
	are polite enough to leave them alone for the most 
	part. The Kai seems completely at ease, engaging in 
	small talk, while Sisko is still waiting for the other 
	shoe to drop.
