			There's another incoming message 
			for you major, and they refuse to 
			give either their name or location.

	Kira and O'Brien exchange a look -- could this be the 
	killer again?

					KIRA 
				(to com)
			I'm on my way.

	As they move out...

									CUT TO:

11   INT. OPS (OPTICAL)

	Kira and O'Brien ENTER to find Odo and Sisko waiting 
	for them by one of the monitors near the Ops table. 
	Odo is working a console.

					ODO
			We're having trouble tracing the 
			signal.

					SISKO
				(working)
			They're running it through some 
			kind of scrambler and using a 
			phase-divergent carrier wave. 
				(to Kira)
			Try to keep them talking.

	Kira nods and steps in front of a monitor, O'Brien and 
	Sisko step back so as not to be seen by whoever's on 
	the other end of the call. Kira steels herself, then 
	reaches out and touches a control.

					KIRA

			This is Major Kira Nerys. Who am 
			I speaking to?
