					SISKO 
			I didn't want to put you in the 
			position of having to fight your 
			own people.

					WORF
				(that's what he thought) 
			I see.

					SISKO
			If you'd like, I could put you in 
			charge of one of the damage 
			control teams. That way if 
			there's trouble, you won't have to 
			be on the bridge at all.

					WORF
			If it's all the same to you, sir, 
			I would prefer to remain on the 
			bridge.

	Sisko nods. That's what he wanted to hear.

					SISKO
				(pointedly)
			I was hoping you would say that. 
			As far as I'm concerned, that's 
			where you belong.

	Sisko sees that Worf knows he's right. Worf's 
	vulnerable, and Sisko decides to push a little harder.

					SISKO
			I've been giving your resignation 
			some thought. If you really want 
			to quit Starfleet, I won't stand 
			in your way. I'll approve your 
			request as soon as we get back to 
			the station.

	But Sisko's manner let's Worf know he thinks if the 
	Klingon resigns, he'll be making a mistake he'll 
	regret.

	Worf nods thoughtfully.

					WORF
			I would... appreciate that, sir.

	But Worf doesn't look happy. He EXITS, and Sisko 
	allows himself a small smile.
