	As Martok strides into the room. He looks angry.

					SISKO
			General, we need to talk 
			about ...

	But Martok ignores him, slamming a Klingon ceremonial 
	dagger onto his desk.

					MARTOK 
			SOHK-vad. (For you.)

	Martok immediately turns and EXITS. Dax goes to 
	examine the dagger. She looks at the family crest on 
	the hilt.

					DAX
			It's Commander Kaybok's.

					SISKO
			Why give it to me?

					DAX
			He's letting you know Kaybok's 
			dead. Martok probably had him 
			executed for disobeying orders.

	Sisko looks at the knife, grimly absorbing the news.

					SISKO 
			Which means our next confrontation 
			with the Klingons won't be 
			resolved so easily.
				(a beat) 
			Any suggestions, old man?

					DAX
			The longer the Klingons stay here, 
			the worse things are going to get. 
			Whatever you decide to do, you'd 
			better do it soon.

	Sisko thinks about it for a beat, then allows himself 
	a grim smile.

					SISKO 
			Curzon told me once that in the 
			long run, the only people who can 
			really handle Klingons are 
			Klingons.
				(makes up his mind) 
			Get me Starfleet Command.
