36   INT CAVERN

	As Kira ENTERS.  She looks around the cavern and comes upon 
	a large metal door embedded in the rock face.  A complicated 
	lock system is visible on the frame.

					KIRA
				(to herself)
			Why would Shape-shifters need a door?

	She tries to scan the door with her tricorder but has trouble 
	getting a reading - she hits her combadge.

					KIRA
			Kira to shuttle computer.  Scan the 
			area dead ahead of me for a hundred 
			meters.

					COMPUTER COM VOICE
			Unable to penetrate due to 
			interference.

	A cursory check of the locking mechanism is enough to convince 
	Kira there's no way she's getting past that door.

37   INT. QUARK'S

	O'Brien and Bashir are seated together talking.  QUARK, 
	carrying a tray with drinks weaves his way through a crowd 
	that includes a couple of Jem'Hadar soldiers gathered around 
	a dabo table.

					QUARK
			Excuse me, pardon me... after you... 
			look out... coming through...

	Quark arrives at O'Brien and Bashir's table.

					QUARK
			Sorry to keep you waiting gentleman.  
			That's two synthales.  On the house.

	He places the drinks in front of them.  O'Brien and Bashir 
	are surprised by Quark's uncharacteristic generosity.

					O'BRIEN
			What's put you in such a good mood?
