29   INT. NATIMA'S QUARTERS

	Quark is still crumpled on the floor.  He slowly comes to, 
	to see a distraught Natima, phaser still in hand, bent over 
	him.

					NATIMA
			Quark... Quark, are you all right.

					QUARK
				(still doesn't believe 
				it)
			You shot me.

					NATIMA
			I didn't mean to.  It was an accident.
				(holding up the gun 
				for Quark to see)
			I never fired a phaser before.  I 
			barely touched the trigger...

					QUARK
			Careful.

	Quark pulls the gun out of hand and tosses it across the 
	room.  The movement makes him clutch his aching chest.

					QUARK
				(in pain)
			Owww.

					NATIMA
			It hurts?

					QUARK
				(to himself)
			She wants to know if it hurts?
				(snaps)
			Of course it hurts.  It's supposed 
			to hurt.  It's a phaser.

					NATIMA
				(apologetic)
			I made sure it was only on the first 
			setting.

					QUARK
			How considerate of you.
