	of herbs.  On a bunk lies MEG, an unconscious woman, burning 
	up with fever.

	One of her forearms is swollen up and discolored, bathed 
	with herb leaves.  Alixus is holding her hand, looks up as 
	they ENTER.  Joseph examines the arm...
