This image was rendered in Imagine 4.0 on a Pentium 166 with 64Mb Ram, and took about an hour or so to render. No scanned images were used in the picture, and the lens flare and title (added in Photoshop) were the only post processing on the image.

The objects rely HEAVILY on Essence textures and Steve Blackmon's blending textures from his texture toolkit. These blending textures were used mainly to blend in the textures and some brushmaps for the surf and sand that I created in Photoshop.

The woman's body is a combination of various body parts I had lying around that I combined and modified, and the dress was quickly made in the forms editor.Although it's rather difficult to see, the hair is just a deformed tube with a number of bump maps I made in Photoshop.

The sky and clouds were made using blobs and applique, with a number of bumpmaps, and the fakley texture was used with the transparency setting. They were then lit from behind with a pink coloured light, and rendered separately, then used as a backdrop in the final render.

There was one shadow casting light used for the sun, and one fill light.

As always, I would have liked to add more detail and do more, but time got the better of me ;-)
