DARRAN WILLIAMS

This is my festive entry, the snowman was made as a blob object from two spheres, the scarf a plane extruded along a path and the weave texture applied to it. The 'snow' was several spheres which had had the particle effect applied to them. The cat is my mums ( not quite achieved that sort of realism yet), it's a scanned picture used as a brushmap on a bright plane. There should also be a reflection of a room with Christmas tree and cards in there somewhere. I added the tree decoration as the scene didn't seem quite complete and it shows up the global brush map better as a reflection. The following textures were used in this render:- Hardwood, Fuzz, Wrinkle, Weave, Mountain Top, Radial Comb and Metals.

The picture took about 62 minutes to render on my P133 with 32Meg of ram using Imagine for Windows.
