What We Do
Simply put, Eat Cetera is a full-service catering company with one simple specialty: making occasions that involve food special. At Eat Cetera, when we say "full service catering," we mean exactly that. You can call on us for virtually any event and every level of food and service. From quickly setting up the kind of premium coffees and teas, fresh-squeezed juices, and assorted quality breads that can get a morning meeting off to a delicious start, to planning and executing a Golden Anniversary (You can link this page to others to provide actual photographs of your service in action.) party that involves a four-course, sit-down dinner for hundreds of people (including your parents), Eat Cetera can handle it all. So you can clinch that vital sales contract, or finally get to dance with that long-lost relative at the family reunion, secure in the knowledge that all of the culinary details of your important occasion will be meticulously tended to.

The Eat Cetera Palette
Short of letting you actually taste our food, it's hard to convey the appeal of our menu offerings - let alone the style of their presentation. For more casual affairs, Eat Cetera features a variety of continental buffet breakfast, and buffet and box lunch options. And our more elaborate meals let you mix and match from the broad palette of appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, and desserts that you'll find on our full dinner menu. Who We Are
A success since 1993, Eat Cetera is the brainchild of two former college dormmates - Mimi Treat and Dana Flynn -who fled the dorms largely because they wanted better food. The urge to eat well soon turned into an obsession, which led Dana to cooking school in Paris and Mimi to New York's Culinary Arts School. In 1992, continued correspondence about life goals reunited the two, who determined to create a catering company that went well beyond the ordinary. The final touch that allowed their goal to become a reality was provided by a chance encounter with another former college classmate, Maria Shapiro - fresh out of MBA school, dreaming of a business that she could back wholeheartedly, and still enchanted by the memories of meals at Mimi and Dana's apartment.
