Ruby-throated Hummingbird

Peque±o colibrφ verde con la garganta roja e iridiscente en el macho. La negra cola es ligeramente ahorquillada. Las hembras y los inmaduros no tienen la garganta roja y la punta de la cola es blanca. Tama±o: 7.5-9 cm.; peso: machos 3.4 g., hembras 3.8 g. Audio (L. Brown). Anida en el este de AmΘrica del Norte e inverna en AmΘrica Central. Accidental en las ßreas costeras y los jardines de Puerto Rico.
