Orange-winged Parrot

Cotorra de plumaje verde brillante con la frente y la garganta color amarillo. Tiene una mancha en las alas color anaranjado, especialmente notable en vuelo pero no tanto en el ave posada. Tamaño: 31 cm.; peso: 298-469 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Especie nativa de la región amazónica de América del Sur. Introducida en el área de Río Piedras, pero no se sabe si la población se pueda sustentar. Una pequeña bandada de una docena de individuos ha sido vista recientemente entre Vega Baja y Dorado.
