Length: 28-40 cm.; weight: 29 g.

RANGE: Breeds in South America, southern Mexico and Central America. After breeding, birds from southern South America migrate north to northern South America, Barbados, Grenada and the Grenadines. Accidental in North America and the Greater Antilles (Cuba, Caymans, Jamaica), but may be reported from Puerto Rico eventually.
