A small gray dove with a brown back and a red eye ring. Adults have white spots on the wings (white barring on juvenile). The tail is longer than on the Common-Ground Dove. Length: 20 cm. A native of Australia, this cage bird has been documented in Humacao, Arecibo and Cabo Rojo, including successful breeding in Cabo Rojo in 2000.
