A small brown swallow with a white belly and a gray throat. Lacks the well-marked throat band of the Bank Swallow. Length: 13 cm.; weight: 18 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Breeds from southern Canada to northern Mexico. Winters primarily in the southeastern USA and Central America. Accidental in Puerto Rico (10 October, 2002, Central Coloso, Aguadilla).
