This goose comes in two color phases: one is entirely white with black wing tips; the other is blue-gray with a white head. Length: 69-84 cm.; weight: 1,600-3,300 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Breeds on tundra in northern Alaska and Canada. Accidental in wetlands of Puerto Rico (e.g., Ca±o Tiburones Nature Reserve, 7-18 February 2004).
