***Installation***

Unzip the Archive to either C or D and use "Restore Paths"

At the moment, there are available German,English and Italian versions of Assistant. So, if you want to use Assistant in german, delete Language.rsc and rename german.rsc to Language.rsc.
If you want to run it in Italian, unzip the file Italian.zip (Assistant.hlp and Language.rsc) to your Assistant folder, like:
D:\System\Apps\Assistant\Language.rsc
D:\System\Apps\Assistant\Assistant.hlp

Go to the folder Install in the Root Directory:

CLOSE ALL APPLIKATIONS, using Systinfo, Macro5.mcx or Alarm.opx

(As Macro5, Extrabars). Otherwise, any older Versions of these can NOT BE UPGRADED, because the older ones are in use and can not be deleted!!!

!!! Install RMRAlarm.opx (and delete Alarm1.opx)

!!! Install Systinfo.opx (Version 3.00)!!!

Run Macro5lib.sis, to make sure, you have the actual one

Assistant uses also the following OPX procedure:

Sysram1.opx

If you want to run Escript macros, you will have to install Epocplus.sis and Escript.sis
You can get it from Jason Kneen or Palmsape at : www.palmscape.com

or from my Homepage at :

If you are a new User: copy the File NOTES in the Assistant directory!

If you want to have seperate files for Notes and Tasks, make a copy of the Notes file, and rename it to Tasks (or use the ready to use file supplied)

If you have a Rom 1.00 machine, rename Assistant.hlp to Help

You should install the new Macro5 2.37(Beta).

If you are upgrading from 1.3, copy the files clips.dat, Apps.log,folders.dat, Documents.dat, currencies.dat, Assistant.ini and the Jotter file (Notes or users of the old Quicknote ) to this folder. As the configuration file has changed, Assistant.ini will be automatically converted.

After that, you can delete your old Assistant folder with all its files
