NOTE: If you are using joystick1 and you are playing single player game you can use all keyboard functions with the joystick accept turning and rolling.

F4: Configure Keyboard

F2: Customize Controls/Joystick/Gamepad.

F3: Hitting F3 will bring up a list of all key commands.

F5: Save Game. Use the arrows to select a savegame slot, type in the name of your savegame then click the SAVE button.

F6: Load Game. Use the arrows to select a previously saved game then click the LOAD button.

F7: Hitting the F7 key will switch your view to 3rd person

F8: Hitting the F8 key will switch your view to 1st person

Network Setup

 

  1. It is recommended that you play Evil Core-The Fallen Cities Adventure first before playing Evil Core-Network. Since there are so many new video cards and different hardware out every month, its best to find out what display and control settings are best for you. Then when you play the network version and everyones ready to begin theres no question of what your hardware is capable of.
  2. To begin Click on the START menu in windows, find Evil Core, then simply click on Evil Core-Network.
  3. First you will be asked to enter your display settings, this is why its best to play the normal game so you know what works best with your card before competing against your friends. Then when you arrive at the Network initialization dialog, you will see a list of network types. If your going to play on the internet, choose Internet, if you are on a LOCAL AREA NETWORK, it would be IPX, if you have two computers in the house and you want to hook them up though a serial port you would choose DIRECT CABLE CONNECT, if you wish to play directly though the phone without internet you would choose MODEM.
  4. Then you should pick what ship you want to fly and if you want to use a joystick. Then you need to decide if you will be a Host or if you want to Join a game. NOTE: Keyboard buttons can be used along with a joystick for actions like firing but not movement.
  5. If you are a Host on the internet you will need to get your IP address when you go online, and every time you go online the address will change a few numbers .The way you can get you IP address is to go to START in windows then choose RUN and type in WINIPCFG. You need to give that address to you friends that will join, they will use that number to connect to you when the computer prompts them.
  6. If you are a Host on a MODEM/PHONE Connection. You will need to have your friend put in your telephone number when it prompts him. Your Modem will answer the phone and he will be able to connect to you computer.
  7. If you are a Host on a IPX the user will be able to automatically detect the HOST.
  8. If you are doing a direct cable connection with two computers it will automatically detect the HOST
  9. When you do connect to a HOST you will see a EVILCORE selection in the sessions it may take a second or two you locate the session.
  10. If you are joining then double click on the session EVILCORE
  11. Then you will see the currently available players and you will be able to chat with all of them until the HOST starts the game.
  12. Also you can join someone and their allies by double clicking on that persons name, to break away from allies select another person thatÆs not on your allies list or click on "START YOUR OWN TEAM"
  13. To begin the game the HOST must click on Start Game, also the HOST will be able to choose a Battle world.
  14. To Chat to other players during game just hold shift down and type, then hit return to send it.
  15. When the game is over the HOST will be give the opportunity to resart the game.
