Stage 3 Overview: Customize Active Setup
In the third stage of the IEAK wizard, you determine the way that Setup will appear and work:
Customize the CD-ROM Autorun screen
, if you are creating a CD-ROM package.
Customize Active Setup wizard title bar text and bitmap
. These settings affect how Setup appears to the user.
Import a custom profile from the Internet Connection Manager Administration Kit
, if you are an Internet service provider.
Determine if you want to install the package "silently,"
with few or no prompts to the user, if you are a corporate administrator.
Specify up to 10 unique installation options
, and determine which components are included with each option.
Specify the site where your package will be downloaded from
. You can specify up to 10 sites, unless you are a corporate administator performing a silent install.
Specify a unique version for your browser customizations
. This setting ensures that later versions are updated correctly.
Specify where you want Internet Explorer to be installed on your users' computers
, if you are a corporate administator.
Specify whether you want to integrate Web browser functionality into your desktop and folders
, if you are a corporate administrator. You can control global settings for this feature in Stage 5 of the wizard, if you are a corporate administrator.
