This is one of the most in-depth country pages at LANIC. There are numerous links to subjects ranging from politics to archeology and the ancient civilizations of Peru. There is information on other languages spoken in Peru as well (Quechua and Aymará). The flora, fauna, and natural resources section is especially interesting with links containing many images of Peruvian wildlife. For sports enthusiasts there is a link to sites on soccer clubs. Under the travel and tourism section, you can read about the Amazon and the ruins of Machu Pichu. The Peru page is in both Spanish and English, but a large number of the links are only in Spanish.
