Gateway to Latin America

This page has been designed in the belief that to truly learn a foreign language you must also learn the culture of those who speak it. What better way to get to know the culture and people of Latin America than through the Web sites they have created. The page breaks Latin America into three sections: Mexico and Cuba, Central America, and South America. Each of these sections provides access to maps and Web sites from each country. The maps and images are excellent, and thoughtful planning has gone into this page. There are also links to flags from each nation, to information on Indian influences in Latin America, to a Spanish/English dictionary, to a list of computer terms in Spanish, to Spanish-language lessons, and to other Latin American sites. While the site is entirely in English, many of the linked sites are in Spanish.
