Chile

This site offers an extensive set of links for obtaining information on Chile. Links provide information on the two Nobel Prize-winning Chilean authors Gabriela Mistral and Pablo Neruda. There is also information on the Mapuche, the only group of indigenous people left in Chile. There are links to other cultural and artistic information as well. The sites linked under the travel and tourism section contain some very good information and pictures. Most of the information on the page (including the links) is in Spanish. There are numerous links to many of Chile's magazines and daily newspapers, and other links to governmental agencies. One of the largest sections covers science and technology with links to numerous subjects in Spanish.
