The World Wars: A Comparison

An Australian site devoted to a comparison of World War I and World War II covering Technology, Australia's Contribution, Women's Roles, and A Soldier's View. The Technology section cites and describes the new weapons used in each conflict. The Australia section has a summary of the changing views of the population toward warfare. Women's Roles shows the increased involvement of women in the war effort and identifies the new responsibilities they assumed. A Soldier's View contains several brief selections from participants in each war. The Reference Section is quite limited.
