This on-line exhibit from the National Archives explores how the government launched a vigorous propaganda campaign to garner support for World War II among the American public. The Web page, which features eleven posters and one audio file, is divided into two sections. The first part displays posters that motivate by instilling patriotism in the viewer. The second group of posters fosters feelings of suspicion and fear. Each poster is accompanied by a brief description.
