His assertion that the site was not Pevensey is supported by contemporary source documents and field evidence discovered by examining surveys and aerial photographs, by field walking, and by archaeological work. The Web site includes over sixty large text files and many maps and photographs. Austin suggests accessing the files in chronological order to best evaluate his hypothesis.
